1.Wastegate provide a means to control the boost pressure of the turbo charge engine.
2.Wastegate works by bypassing exhaust flow from the turbine wheel which in turn reduces overall boost level.
3.Similar to the BOV,the wastegate uses boost pressure and spring force to regulate the flow bypassing the turbine.
4.Wastegates are bolted to exhaut manifold or header
5.The advantage of external wastegates is that it Improves boost control due to more flow through the wastegate.
6. This is an Adjustable Wastegate that allows you to regulate boost pressure between 7 to 14 psi by simply tightening the adjuster screw at the top of the Wastegate!
